I’m sorry,
for being a snooty
little brat.
The things I’ve done
to hurt your syrupy affectionate heart,
I’ve done it over and over again.
I never thought about you
but always about me.
Now I see your love for me,
shimmering beneath my eyes.
You always made me happy, nevertheless,
my watery, ocean tears falls down from the sky
every now and then,
wondering if you love me as you used too.
now that we are distant,
you are finally moving on,
while my heart can’t stop amorous you,
for all the times we share together,
with laugher and joy.
Now everything is gone,
there will never be me and you,
even if you were the only one that complete me
in this world.
I wish we can turn back,
to shove our misplace love that we lost
into the dark forest that is hidden beneath the velvety soil.
One day the wind gust our lost love from the velvety soil,
to set us free from our confusion of love.

I like the description velvety soil and all of the other metaphors you use!
ReplyDeleteI liked how you were up front about your thoughts and didn't use a billion metaphors and allusions to hide what you really ment. It was very literal and it worked well.
